Saving Vision Through

Retina Treatments Since 1980

We are proud to be the first specialty retina practice in Southern Nevada. Our board certified, nationally recognized retina specialists focus exclusively on diseases and surgery of the retina and vitreous. Our goal is to quickly diagnose retina problems so we can perform advanced treatments to protect and preserve your eyesight. From routine treatments to complicated surgeries, our team is here to help.

Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD)

While there is no cure for AMD, early detection and treatment may slow the progression of the disease and reduce the loss of vision. Our team of experts may recommend treatments such as laser therapy, medication injections, photodynamic therapy, vitamin supplements or other treatments for your unique condition.

Diabetic Retinopathy

Diabetics are especially prone to eye disease – especially diabetic retinopathy. Not everyone will require treatment for diabetic retinopathy, but if this disease affects your vision, our doctors may recommend medications such as steroids or anti-VEGF injections, laser treatment or a vitrectomy to minimize the risk of vision loss.

Clinical Studies

Many of the conditions we encounter and treat have approved and effective treatments. Most individuals respond well to these treatments. For those individuals who don’t respond well to the current standard of care and for those conditions that have no proven treatment, clinical trials are performed to find a new and hopefully improved treatment for retina diseases. Clinical trials often represent a critical final step in the evaluation of a new treatment. A clinical trial may last 6 months to 2 years. Participation is purely voluntary.
